A la muerte de un oficial en goce de sueldo de retiro sus parientes en el orden y proporción establecidos en el Artículo 48 de esta ley, tienen derecho a una cantidad mensual pagadera por la caja de sueldos de retiro, equivalente a las dos terceras partes de la asignación de retiro del causante.
