Los Fondos Ganaderos deberán promover dentro del desarrollo de su objeto social los planes y programas que al respecto diseñe y establezca el Ministerio de Agricultura. Así mismo, están obligados a colaborar y a suministrar la información necesaria para el cumplimiento de las políticas agropecuarias que fije el Ministerio de Agricultura según lo dispuesto en el Decreto 501 de 1989.
