°. Plan Estratégico Nacional de Investigación Ambiental. El Plan Estratégico Nacional de Investigación Ambiental será el instrumento de planificación fundamental de largo plazo, que orienta y focaliza, para una vigencia de 10 años, la actividad de la investigación ambiental en el SINA. El Plan será formulado por el Ministerio de Ambiente, Vivienda y Desarrollo Territorial en coordinación con los institutos de investigación del SINA.
