ARTICULO 3.1.1.0.4 .- ENTIDADES DESTINATARIAS. Se encuentran sometidas a las disposiciones de este libro, las empresas que se organicen y funcionen como compañías o cooperativas de seguros. Cada vez que se aluda en este estatuto a la actividad aseguradora, a operaciones o a negocios de seguros, se entenderán por tales las realizadas por este tipo de entidades y, salvo que de la naturaleza del texto se desprenda otra cosa, se entenderán comprendidas también en dicha denominación las operaciones efectuadas por las sociedades de reaseguros.
