Art. 137. El dia 1 de cada mes se presentara el alcalde de cada distrito parroquial en el estanquillo o estanquillos de tabacos que hubiere establecidos en el distrito, i exijirá de los respectivos estanquilleros le manifiesten la existencia de tabaco i dinero que haya en cada estanquillo. Contara luego una i otra existencia, i estenderá una dilijencia que dejará en poder del estanquillero, para que la remita al día siguiente con la suma que exista en dinero, al estanco proveedor del cantón.
