La Ley 599 de 2000 tendrá un nuevo artículo 243-A, el cual quedará así:

Artículo 243-A. Circunstancias de agravación punitiva. Las penas imponibles de acuerdo con el artículo anterior se aumentarán de una tercera parte a la mitad si concurre alguna de las siguientes circunstancias:

1.

Se inserte, altere, suprima o falsifiquen fierros, marcas, señales u otros instrumentos o dispositivos utilizados para la identifica­ción de las especies.

2.

Se presente sacrificio de las especies.

3.

El autor sea servidor público y ejecute la conducta aprovechán­dose de esta calidad.

4.

Las descritas en los numerales 1, 2, 3 y 4 del artículo 241.
