Si antes de que se pronuncie sentencia de primera instancia, o antes del veredicto del Jurado, si fuere el caso, el responsable restituye el objeto que fue materia de la infracción o indemniza a la persona ofendida de los perjuicios que se le hayan causado, la sanción se disminuirá de una sexta parte a la mitad.
