Responsabilidad. El titular del registro, fabricante o importador de alimentos deberá cumplir en todo momento las normas técnico-sanitarias, las condiciones de producción y el control de calidad exigido, presupuestos bajo los cuales se concede el Registro Sanitario. En consecuencia, cualquier transgresión de las normas o de las condiciones establecidas y los efectos que estos tengan sobre la salud de la población, será responsabilidad tanto del titular respectivo como del fabricante e importador.
