Los sistemas de trazabilidad que se desarrollen en los otros eslabones de la cadena productiva, particularmente en las etapas de transformación y comercialización de productos de origen animal, al igual que aquellos que se implementen por el sector privado con la competencia de los ministerios responsables deberán articularse y complementarse con el Sistema Nacional de Identificación, Información y Trazabilidad Animal.
