Art. 1411. Las deudas hereditarias se dividen entre los herederos, a prorata de sus cuotas.

Así, el heredero del tercio no es obligado a pagar sino el tercio de las deudas hereditarias.

Pero el heredero beneficiario no es obligado al pago de ninguna cuota de las deudas hereditarias sino hasta concurrencia de lo que valga lo que hereda.

Lo dicho se entiende sin perjuicio de lo dispuesto en los artículos 1413 i 1583.
