El notario tomará posesión del cargo dentro de los diez (10) días siguientes a aquel en que reciba la confirmación del nombramiento si ya se inició el período legal, salvo fuerza mayor o caso fortuito debidamente comprobado o prórroga hasta de 30 días concedida justificadamente por quien hizo la designación.
