º . El certificado de ahorro no podrá expedirse por una duración inferior a seis (6) meses. Si no se cancelare a su vencimiento, se entenderá que el certificado queda automáticamente prorrogado, por periodos sucesivos de seis (6) en seis (6) meses. Sin embargo, las corporaciones de ahorro y vivienda podrán redimir el certificado en cualquier momento, pero en tal caso no pagarán interés sobre fracciones de semestre.
