Acceso Público y Protección de la Información en el ECOH2. La información incluida en el ECOH2 estará disponible al público luego de evaluación y verificación, asegurando así la transparencia y el acceso conforme a la Ley 1712 de 2014 o las normas que la modifiquen o sustituyan. La administración del ECOH2 establecerá mecanismos para salvaguardar la veracidad, integridad y actualización constante de los datos.

Cuando se trate de información confidencial y/o sujeta a derechos de propiedad intelectual, los responsables del registro deberán indicar la naturaleza de dicha información a ECOH2. Lo anterior con el fin de propender por salvaguardar la confidencialidad y la correcta gestión de la información, de acuerdo con la Ley 1712 de 2014, la Ley 1581 de 2012, o normativas que las modifiquen o sustituyan.
