No podrá limitarse al procesado el derecho que le asiste para relatar cuanto tenga por conveniente para su defensa o para la explicación de los hechos, y se verificarán con prevalencia y en el menor tiempo posible las citas que hiciere y las demás diligencias que propusiere para comprobar sus aseveraciones.
