Si los peritos no ocurren a tomar posesión del cargo en el término señalado, se procede a su reemplazo, a menos queel Juez, a pedimento de cualquiera de las partes, y aun de oficio, estime necesario el dictamen de los nombrados en razón de su profesión, arte u oficio, o por escasez de personal competente en el lugar de la diligencia. En este caso son aplicables a los peritos las reglas dadas para la comparecencia de los testigos.
