Tiempo para la práctica de autopsias. Con el fin de que la información obtenida mediante la práctica de las autopsias y viscerotomías a que se refiere este Título sea adecuada para los objetivos que con las mismas se persiguen, deberán practicarse dentro del menor tiempo posible a partir del momento de la muerte. (Artículo 31 del Decreto 786 de 1990)
