Cuando quiera que a los mataderos lleguen animales sospechosos de padecer alguna enfermedad de declaración obligatoria, los Médicos Veterinarios Inspectores Sanitarios informarán de tal hecho a la oficina correspondiente de Sanidad Animal del Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario y a las demás autoridades competentes del Ministerio de Salud o delegadas de éste.
