INTERMEDIACION DE LAS ENTIDADES FINANCIERAS. De conformidad con lo dispuesto en el artículo 287 de la Ley 100 de 1993, las entidades de Seguridad Social y las Entidades Promotoras de Salud, podrán realizar las actividades de promoción y ventas, la administración de la relación con sus afiliados, el recaudo, pago y transferencia de los recursos por intermedio de instituciones financieras, intermediarios de seguros u otras entidades, con el fin de ejecutar, las actividades propias de los servicios que ofrezcan. El Gobierno reglamentará la actividad de estos intermediarios, regulando su organización, actividades, responsabilidades y vigilancia a que estarán sujetos.
