El Banco Popular, una vez concedidas por el Banco de la República las tasas de redescuento de que se habla en el artículo anterior, estará en la obligación de conceder el crédito popular de que trata el aparte a) del artículo 7° de esta Ley, a un tipo de interés inferior en un punto al interés corriente en la respectiva plaza donde se realice la operación.
