El cheque debe ser presentado para su pago dentro del término de treinta días, si su emisión se hizo en la misma plaza en que debe ser pagado; dentro de sesenta días, si en plaza distinta en la República, y dentro de ciento veinte días si en plaza extranjera, o el girador queda libre hasta e1 monto del perjuicio causado por la demora.
