Competencia y requisitos para su expedición . Los Servicios Seccionales de salud o su autoridad delegada deberán expedir el carnet de manipulador de alimentos, cuando el solicitante reuna los siguientes requisitos

Resultados bacteriológicos negativos para los exámenes de secreciones nasofaringeas en cuanto a estafilococos aureus, estafilococos beta hemalítico y difteria.

Coprocultivo negativo para salmonela y shiela Sp.

Certificado general de salud, expedido por un médico legalmente registrado.
