Corresponde al Departamento de Relaciones Públicas todas las actividades conducentes a fomentar el prestigio de la institución, a incrementar la cooperación de entidades oficiales o privadas, y de personas naturales con las funciones del servicio, a realizar programas internos para divulgar la actividad policial, resaltar las virtudes y capacidades del personal y de las Unidades y mantener cordiales relaciones entre superiores y subalternos.
