Art. 149. No pueden ser elegidos Diputados a las Asambleas departamentales ni electoras en el Distrito electoral en que ejerzan o hayan ejercido sus funciones, los individuos que el día de las votaciones desempeñaren o hubieren desempeñado en los tres meses anteriores a éstos, los empleos de Juez de Circuito, Fiscal de Juzgado de Circuito o cualquier otro empleo nacional o departamental, con jurisdicción ordinaria o facultad coactiva, en todo el territorio del Distrito electoral.
