Deber de no infectar. La persona informada de su condición de portadora del Virus de Inmunodeficiencia Humana (VIH) deberá abstenerse de donar sangre, semen, órganos o en general cualquier componente anatómico, así como de realizar actividades que conlleven riesgo de infectar a otras personas.
