Art. 4. ° Para estimular y recompensar á los que, conformo á este decreto se encarguen de hacer las observaciones mencionadas, se ofrecen anualmente los siguientes premios: Doscientos pesos ($ 200) en dinero que se adjudicarán al quo, durante todo el año, presente sus cuadros con mayor exactitud y suministre datos que manifiesten haber practicado las observaciones con interes y minuciosidad; Cien posos ($100) en dinero que se adjudicarán al observador cuyos datos sigan en importancia al anterior, y Cincuenta pesos ($50) en dinero que se dirán al observador cuyos datos figuran en importancia al que precede. Estos premios serán discernidos por el se acompañarán con un diploma honorifico.
