Póliza de seguro. El constructor o enajenador de vivienda nueva podrá constituir pólizas de seguro para cubrir los perjuicios patrimoniales causados a los propietarios que se vean afectados cuando la edificación perezca o amenace ruina, las cuales deberán cumplir con las características previstas en este Capítulo.

La Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia creará un nuevo ramo de seguro para la expedición de las pólizas de las que trata la presente subsección.
