º El Banco tendrá su oficina principal en Bogotá, y podrá establecer sucursales y agencias en el país, donde lo estime conveniente, y operará por medio de las oficinas dependientes del Ministerio de Correos y Telégrafos, sin que el Banco tenga que atender a los gastos de personal y material de éstas, ni reconocer al Ministerio comisión alguna por tal servicio. Sin embargo, el Banco podrá destinar hasta el 20% de sus utilidades anuales para proveer de cajas de seguridad y equipos especiales a las Secciones de Giros de las Oficinas de Correos y Telégrafos habilitadas como agencias del Banco.
