Para honrar su memoria, y en reconocimiento de los servicios que prestó al país como legislador, Ministro del Despacho Ejecutivo, profesor y hombre de vasta ilustración, se le erigirá un busto en una de las plazas de la ciudad de Medellín, con esta inscripción:
