° Las guarniciones a bordo tendrán la misión de dar seguridad a los barbos y prestar la vigilancia que sea necesaria. Podrán también ocuparse en los trabajos de la navegación, en la forma que determine el Capitán del barco, de acuerdo con el Oficial militar Comandante de la tropa, y según los regimientos que expidan los Ministerios de Guerra y de Correos y Telégrafos.
