Las aeronaves sometidas a las disposiciones de la presente ley se clasificaran en tres categorías, a saber:

1ª "Aeronaves de transporte publico," la que está destinada a transportar personas o cosas, mediante remuneración de cualquier género, o sin remuneración alguna, si el transporte es efectuado por una empresa de transporte aéreo.

2ª "Aeronave de trabajos aéreos," la que esta destinada a fines industriales o comerciales, o para cualquier otro fin lucrativo, no comprendidos dentro de los transportes contemplados en el numeral anterior.

3ª "Aeronaves de turismo," la que está destinada a fines distintos a los contemplados a los dos numerales anteriores.
