Cuando el Jefe titular de una Misión Diplomática se retire definitivamente de su cargo, la partida para gastos de arrendamiento se le girará al Encargado de Negocios ad ínterim, o al funcionario encargado de los archivos si fuere el caso, siempre que haya un contrato vigente de arrendamiento de la residencia del Jefe y de las oficinas de Cancillería.
