En caso de muerte de un trabajador beneficiario, el empleador dará aviso inmediato del hecho a la Caja de Compensación Familiar a que estuviere afiliado, y ésta continuará pagando durante doce (12) meses el monto del subsidio a la persona que acredite haberse responsabilizado de la guarda, sostenimiento o cuidado de las personas a cargo del fallecido.
