El que en el ejercicio del comercio engañe al comprador entregándole una cosa por otra, o una cosa de origen, calidad o cantidad diversa de la declarada o convenida, incurrirá en-arresto de diez días a un año, y en multa de diez a quinientos pesos. Si el engaño versare sobre obras de arte, objetos preciosos o de especial valor histórico, se impondrá la prisión hasta por dos años y multa hasta por dos mil pesos.
