En caso de falta temporal o absoluta del Presidente de la República lo reemplazará el Ministro que para ello haya aquel designado de antemano. A falta de Ministro en quien haya recaído esta designación, se encargará del Poder Ejecutivo otro de los Ministros en el orden de precedencia establecido por la ley; a falta de Ministros se encargará del Poder Ejecutivo el Gobernador del Distrito Capital o del Departamento que se halle más cercano a la capital de la República, por su orden.

Parágrafo

La designación que haga el Presidente puede revocarla en cualquier tiempo y hacer una nueva.
