°. Del alcalde metropolitano. En cada área metropolitana el Alcalde del municipio principal ejercerá las funciones de Alcalde Metropolitano, y como tal, será jefe de la Administración y representante legal del área metropolitana. Para el caso de relaciones de orden contractual o jurisdiccional entre el área metropolitana y el municipio que constituya el núcleo principal, la representación legal del área metropolitana corresponderá a la persona que designe para el efecto la Junta Metropolitana.
