Recompensas pecuniarias. Las recompensas pecuniarias o en especie, se otorgarán a aquellas personas que se destaquen en el cumplimiento del deber. Las recompensas serán otorgadas por el Director General de la Policía Nacional, con base en las apropiaciones presupuestales asignadas para tal efecto o el fondo interno.
