Para efectos de la presente ley se entenderá que las casa-cárceles actualmente existentes son casas para la detención preventiva y cumplimiento de pena por conductas punibles culposas cometidas en accidentes de tránsito o en ejercicio de profesión y oficio a las que se refiere el numeral 3 del artículo 11 de la presente ley.
