Art. 5° Del mismo remanente de billetes podrán tomarse hasta diez mil pesos ($10,000) que se pondrán a disposición del Ilustrísimo Sr. Obispo de Cartagena, para la reparación de la iglesia de San Juan de Dios, donde se hallan depositados los restos del Beato Pedro Claver, el apóstol de los negros.

Igualmente tomará el Gobierno diez mil pesos ($10.000) que se entregarán al Sr. D. Manuel Vicente de la Roche, para fomentar la importante industria de la sericicultura, á cuyo planteamiento ha estado consagrado hace más de veinte años.
