Si no hubiere Junta de Sanidad, el médico que haga el examen del enfermo, tomara datos para formar la estadística del mal tales como el clima, el lugar de residencia habitual del enfermo si ha habido o no hay leprosos entre sus ascendentes, colaterales y descendientes del enfermo, la causa a que atribuye esta enfermedad, y el concepto personal del médico sobre la verdadera causa que haya ocasionado la enfermedad.
