° 3Fuéra de las capitales de los Departamentos serán representantes de los Síndicos del Lazareto loa Personeros municipales, quienes deberán, en uso de esa representación, abogar por los intereses del Lazareto, con las atribuciones determina das en el artículo 15 de la Ley 170 de 1896 y las demás facultades conferidas en disposiciones concordantes.

Parágrafo

Los Personeros municipales deberán informar periódicamente acerca de las gestiones qua tengan pendientes, al respectivo sindico departamental, y rendirle cuenta mensual de las sumas que recauden, comprobada en la forma establecida por las disposiciones vigentes en el Ramo de Lazaretos.
