El contratista, subcontratista o intermediario que no ejecute por sí mismo la labor contratada, será responsable solidariamente con la persona en cuyo beneficio o por cuenta de la cual se desarrolle la labor, del pago de las cotizaciones patronales correspondientes a los trabajadores que le sirvan para ejecutar dicha labor, sin perjuicio del derecho que una de tales personas tenga para repetir contra la otra.
