Los billetes que emita el Banco de la República serán considerados como moneda legal de oro para los efectos penales.

Para los mismo efectos penales se considerarán como moneda legal de la plata los" certificados de plata," cuya emisión se autoriza en el articulo 14 de esta misma Ley.
