Controlar las aplicaciones de la ciencia y la tecnología nuclear con fines pacíficos incluyendo la operación, control y supervisión del reactor nuclear de investigación y de las fuentes intensas de radiación y sus aplicaciones de acuerdo con las disposiciones legales vigentes. 9. Las demás funciones inherentes a la naturaleza de la dependencia y las que le sean asignadas por las disposiciones legales vigentes.
