Articulo 8° El Archivero del Congreso queda en la obligación de mantener arregladas las colecciones de las leyes, los Códigos, las ordenanzas de los Departamentos y de los periódicos oficiales tanto nacionales como departamentales, procurando en lo posible su empaste. Cuando estas publicaciones no fueren remitidas oportunamente procederá a hacer el reclamo al empleado que deba verificar el envió. De todas las publicaciones se hará un índice a fin de que en un momento dado pueda saberse lo que haya en la biblioteca.
