La nación, los departamentos, distritos y municipios tendrán en cuenta en la formulación de sus planes de desarrollo nacional, departamentales, distritales y municipales las disposiciones para la promoción de las fuentes no convencionales de energía renovable y de eficiencia energética, incluidas en la Ley 1715 de 2014 como una de las herramientas para la mitigación de gases de efecto invernadero en la gestión del cambio climático.
