El artículo 145 de la Constitución quedará así:

ARTÍCULO 145.

Para ser Magistrado de la Corte Suprema de Justicia se requiere ser colombiano de nacimiento y en ejercicio de la ciudadanía, tener más de treinta y cinco años de edad y ser abogado titulado; y, además, haber sido Magistrado de la Corte Suprema de Justicia, en propiedad, o Magistrado de alguno de los Tribunales Superiores de Distrito, por un período no menor de cuatro años; o Fiscal de Tribunal Superior por el mismo tiempo; o Procurador General de la Nación por tres años, o Procurador Delegado por cuatro; o Consejero de Estado por el mismo período.
