°. Objeto . El Instituto Nacional de Vías Regionales (Invir), tendrá como objetivo el fomento de la construcción, mejoramiento y conservación de vías regionales, en el territorio nacional, en cooperación con los departamentos, municipios, o con otras entidades oficiales, semioficiales y privadas. Para tal efecto, el Invir ejecutará las políticas, estrategias, planes, programas y proyectos de la infraestructura de carácter regional, así como la Red Vial Nacional de carreteras terciarias y sus infraestructuras conexas o relacionadas, de acuerdo con los lineamientos establecidos por el Ministerio de Transporte.
