Al decretar un avalúo de bienes, el Juez dispone que las partes nombren peritos avaluadores dentro de los tres días siguientes.

Pueden nombrarse distintos secuestres para los bienes situados en diferentes lugres, y distintos peritos avaluadores de los mismos bienes y para los de diversa naturaleza que requieran conocimientos especiales.
