º . Funciones. El defensor del cliente de las entidades vigiladas tendrá como funciones ser vocero de los clientes o usuarios ante la respectiva institución, y conocer y resolver de forma objetiva y gratuita las quejas individuales, dentro de los términos aquí establecidos, que estos le presenten relativas a un posible incumplimiento por parte de la entidad vigilada, de las normas legales o internas que rigen el desarrollo o ejecución de los servicios o productos que ofrecen o prestan, o respecto de la calidad de los mismos.
