ARTICULO 27 . La visa de residente tendrá vigencia indefinida y permite múltiples entradas. No obstante caducará si el extranjero se ausenta del país por más de dos años continuos. Podrá ser expedida por la División de Visas o por los funcionarios consulares de la República con autorización de ésta.

Parágrafo

Cuando no se llenen inicialmente los requisitos para obtener visa de residente en sus diferentes categorías, se podrá expedir visa temporal en estas mismas categorías, cuya vigencia será de uno (1) a tres (3) años. SECCION SEPTIMA Visa Temporal.
